Trinidad & Tobago up-and-comer Jimmy October delivers his new single ‘Rum & Calypso‘. The sexy and romantic track embodies a style he has dubbed “New Calypso” – a blend of the genres calypso, soca, afrobeats, and dancehall. After spending 2022 touring with Kes The Band (#1 streaming soca artist on Spotify), Jimmy October recently signed to independent label Ineffable Records, who will be releasing his EP this year and includes a feature from reggae sensation Protoje.
