As the genre of Reggae music continues to evolve, Iya Terra has remained distinguished in both sound and sustenance throughout their five-year journey. Combining messages of traditional Roots music in a modern-day version, the Los Angeles-based band demonstrates an original and refreshing approach to creating conscious soundwaves that has them bound for infinite possibilities.

The 2015 release of the band’s first LP, Full Circle, began an upward trend of gaining momentum and fan acquisition across the map. In 2016, Iya Terra reached new heights as they began to tour heavily throughout the western U.S. Fast forward to 2017, which undoubtedly proved to be Iya Terra’s breakout year. The release of their Billboard and iTunes chart-topping album Sacred Sound became a launching pad for a year full of massive growth. Since its release, the band’s calendar had been filled with powerful intent as they spent the rest of the year touring in new markets such as the East coast and venturing internationally into Canada.

2018 kicked off full force with Iya Terra supporting Stick Figure on the Above The Storm Winter Tour followed by a blockbuster Summer Tour as the band performed alongside Ziggy Marley, Steel Pulse and Tribal Seeds. Not to be overlooked, Iya Terra also managed to release 2 #1 chart-topping singles, “Stars”, “Marching On”, and “Wash Away” while journeying on 3 very successful headlining expeditions throughout the course of the year that spanned across the entire country.

The five-piece band has now made inspiring debuts in the last few years at several major festivals including the California Roots Music and Arts Festival, One Love Cali Reggae Fest and Reggae Rise Up held in both Florida and Utah. Iya Terra looks to carry the momentum through 2019, as they trod on some very promising ventures supporting big names such as Rebelution, Twiddle and SOJA. The band also plans to drop a new full-length album titled Coming To Light with a headlining run to promote its Release. Iya Terra continues to practice hard work and full passion with a loving connection to their ever-growing fan base. Their musical growth has earned them respect amongst an impressive resume of artists and after recently joining forces with Ineffable Music Group and Paradigm Agency, the sky is the limit moving forward!
