BLVK H3RO (pronounced Black Hero) is a Jamaican artist on a mission to push
reggae forward with fearless creativity and global vision. A 2023 GRAMMY nominee
for Best Global Music Performance, he’s worked with icons like Bunny Wailer,
UB40, Stonebwoy, and Skillibeng, while forging his own path.
His releases—including the acclaimed On A Mission (2023), the high-energy
ACTIVE capsule, and the recent WINNAHproject—have dropped via Delicious Vinyl
Island, the Caribbean imprint of the iconic LA label. Inspired by his 2024 Africa tour
and a standout performance at Ghana’s BHIM Festival, WINNAH marks his growing
continental presence.
In 2025, BLVK H3RO won the Dennis Brown Award for Most Promising
Entertainer at the 42nd IRAWMA, and earned a Best New Artist nomination at the
Caribbean Music Awards. His viral take on Ini Kamoze’s Hotstepper with Trinix has
surpassed 30 million streams, expanding his global audience.
