Our headliners are finally here! Friday it’s all about the Italian hitmaker Alborosie! In 1992 Alborosie fronted the first Italian reggae band (named Reggae National Tickets) to ever play Jamaica’s famous Sumfest and Reggae Sunsplash festivals. Feeling drawn to the Rasta lifestyle, the culture, the music and Jamaica itself, he moved there in 2000 and has lived there for the last 25 years producing mega solo hits and collaborations while still selling out shows all over the globe!
Next up for Saturday nights co-headliner this performer has numerous hits alongside artists like Beyonce, Major Lazer, Shaggy, and absolute dance floor smashers like “Man a Gallis”, “Bruk It Down”, “Hot Gal Today”, “I Am Blessed”, “Tamale”, “Take Weh Yuself” and still up to di time with 2025’s hit “Alive”,
it’s Mr. Vegas!
When you ask the question, who is Reggae music’s most requested singer, the name Tarrus Riley will always tip any Richter scale! After headlining nearly every major reggae festival across the globe, Tarrus Riley will finally make his way back to our stage to headline Saturday night and we couldn’t be any more stoked!
And finally, Reggae on the River is proud to present to you, the most requested artist on any and all our social media posts, the man they call Busy Signal! When Busy touched the ROTR stage in 2018, some people say it was the best live performance blending reggae and dancehall together that had been done on our stage, ever. With Reggae hits like “Reggae Music Again”, “One More Night”, “Dream of Brighter Days”, and Dancehall hits like “Mad Mi”, “Stay So”, “Bedroom Bully”, “Bumaye” and many more, we plan to end Sunday night with a bang, not a fizzle!
