New York, New York – May 15, 2024 – Alt Indie Hip-Hop duo Little Stranger are having a blast playing festivals across the US this year, and they just released the official video for “God at a Festival” feat. Andy Frasco and Damn Skippy alongside the announcement of their forthcoming album Sat Around Trippin out June 28 on Ineffable Records. PRESS HERE to pre-save and HERE to watch as Kevin and John are transported to a trippy music festival planet where nothing else matters, but the music. The new video is complete with appearances from Andy Frasco and Damn Skippy.

Little Stranger is breaking into previously uncharted waters with Sat Around Trippin. Between John’s melodic singer-songwriter magnetism, Kevin’s in-your-face delivery, and an overall undeniable groove the largely self-produced album features everything from rock to gospel-inspired tracks to rap. The result is a sonically diverse album that you can lay back and kick it to, whether you are 18 or 81 showing the band’s ability to connect with anyone regardless of age.

“‘Sat Around Trippin’ is what happens after you take a ‘Trip Around Saturn’ with the crew. The album finds us doubling down on the strangeness, chaos, and authenticity we hold tight to,” says Little Stranger. “The album started at a little cabin at the top of a mountain in Bat Cave, NC that we spent the month in with the goal of disappearing a bit and recalibrating our creative minds after months of grinding on the road.”

The album announcement comes on the heels of the release of the single “God at a Festival” feat. Andy Frasco and Damn Skippy. The track is a unique mix of rap and soul that encompasses the euphoric feeling of experiencing live music in a community at a festival. For the duo, the track is a full circle moment and a testament to their close friendship with Frasco who they met at the Summer Camp festival.

Sat Around Trippin also features previously released singles “Fly Guy” (with The Movement) and “Kama Sumatra”. The new album serves as the follow-up to cult favorite Trip Around Saturn, which featured Del the Funky Homosapien and The Elovaters among others, and garnered over a million streams on Spotify alone.

This Fall, the duo will bring their electric live show to various cities across the U.S. on their Sat Around Trippin tour kicking off September 26 in St. Louis including Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, and more. Venue pre-sale begins Thursday, May 16 at 12pm ET and tickets are on sale to the general public Friday, May 17 at 12pm ET. For all ticketing info please visit

Born and raised in Philly and now based in Charleston, SC Kevin and John Shields (not related but best friends) are Little Stranger. Reminiscent of Gorillaz and Odelay-era Beck, the duo delivers a fresh take on melodic hip-hop. For the past few years, they’ve been perfecting the organized chaos that is a Little Stranger live performance, and this summer Kevin and John will be joining Stick Figure on the road, playing festivals across the U.S. including Governors Ball, Hangout Fest, Cali Roots Music & Art Festival and more. Their electric live shows offer a chance to lose yourself, be yourself, and be accepted as part of a community (the “Strangerverse”), all while leading with love, getting loose, and putting the fan experience first.

For their upcoming tour with Stick Figure, Little Stranger has partnered with Backline, a nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals with mental health and wellness resources, to donate $1 of every ticket sold on the tour (full routing can be found below).
