Bay Area emcees J.Lately and Ian Kelly link up to deliver this new alternative hip-hop/boom bap single ‘Spare Change’. A smooth track about hustling to make an extra dollar to be able to share and build with that special someone. This is the eighth single from Lately following his 2023 album ‘Brunch’, which included features from The Grouch & Eligh (of the iconic hip-hop group Living Legends), callmestevieray, James Begin (of Tropidelic), and more. Ian Kelly, who was signed to 9th Wonder’s JAMLA label, has gained notoriety as a member of the group Macarthur Maze. They’ve received a co-sign from Sway and have been featured on Sway In The Morning. Last fall Lately completed a 13-date tour across the United States supporting fellow Bay Area emcee Locksmith.
