Indiana’s jam rockers Umphrey’s McGee have teamed up with the legendary Huey Lewis and the News on ‘Let’s Dance’. This cover of the David Bowie song stays true to the spirit of the original, with Huey and UM lending their unique flavor to the track. This was the last time Huey was in the studio before losing his hearing, almost certainly his last recording ever! Originally recorded exclusively for Howard Stern’s David Bowie tribute, Lewis provides vocals as well as a harmonica solo on the track. Also featured is saxophonist Jeff Coffin of the Dave Matthews Band who plays all of the horns on the Bowie cover. “‘Let’s Dance’ is the quintessential ‘80s Bowie sound … who better to capture that magic than husky vocalist Huey Lewis?” said Umphrey’s McGee guitarist Jake Cinninger.
