Vybz Kartel

Adidja Azim Palmer, better known as Vybz Kartel, is arguably the most dominant force in dancehall music of the 21st century. Born on January 7, 1976, in Waterford, Portmore, Jamaica, he began his musical career in the early 1990s and rose to become the undisputed "World Boss" of dancehall.

Kartel's lyrical dexterity, prolific output, and cultural influence are unmatched in the genre. He has released hundreds of songs and dozens of albums, consistently topping charts in Jamaica and across the Caribbean diaspora.
