Nesta Robert "Ky-Mani" Marley is a Jamaican-American reggae and hip-hop artist, actor, and the son of reggae legend Bob Marley and table tennis champion Janet Hunt. Born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth, Jamaica, Ky-Mani grew up in Miami, Florida, where he was raised in challenging circumstances before finding his path through music.
Ky-Mani has carved out a unique identity distinct from his father's legacy, blending reggae with hip-hop, R&B, and rock influences. His debut album "Like Father Like Son" (1996) introduced him to the world, and he has since released a string of critically acclaimed projects that showcase his versatility and artistic depth.
Beyond music, Ky-Mani has pursued an acting career, appearing in films such as "Shottas" (2002) and "One Love" (2003). He is known for his philanthropic work and his commitment to carrying forward the Marley family's message of peace, love, and unity.
