Kabaka Pyramid

Kabaka Pyramid, born Brendan Anthony Mendez, is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary conscious reggae. Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, he has built a reputation as a lyrical powerhouse who blends roots reggae with hip-hop sensibilities and sharp social commentary.

His music tackles themes of Rastafari, Pan-Africanism, social justice, and spiritual awakening. He gained international recognition through his association with Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley's Ghetto Youths International label, which released his debut album "Kontraband" in 2018 to widespread critical acclaim.
