Alpha Blondy

Alpha Blondy, born Seydou Koné in Dimbokro, Ivory Coast, is one of the most celebrated and influential reggae artists ever to emerge from Africa. A passionate advocate for peace, unity, and social justice, he has spent over four decades creating music that blends Jamaican roots reggae with West African rhythms, French, English, Arabic, and Dioula lyrics — a multilingual approach that reflects his vision of a unified humanity.
